inside instead of out.
the bible says to judge ourselves long before we judge others; so long before that we'll never get to the others. this is so we don't look down on others obviously, but i think it's also so we don't look up to others too much. it's too easy to say, oh benny hinn will make God fix me, rather than just pray and rely on our own personal relationship with God. it's just as much judgement saying they're so awesome in their relationship with God as it is saying they suck, we can't focus on either. all we can do is believe in and focus on our personal relationship, and help others along when they ask.

very wise.
ReplyDeletesometimes i forget that positive judgement is really the same as negative. we're all human, all of us. we all bleed and make mistakes, and no one is better than anyone - God is the only one we can rely on.
it's funny, sometimes, how we christians can read all these "christiany" books, and not touch our bible in weeks.
